Charlie Sheen to be replaced by John Stamos ... why not just kill the show now?

Bring back Charlie Sheen and toss that bum Chuck Lorre

Do what's best for the TV audience and CBS

I don't turn on the TV sitcom "Two and a Half Men" on CBS each week to watch Chuck Lorre. I turn it on because of Charlie Sheen. Sheen is the primary talent and more importantly the reason why the show is so phenomenal. Sheen is one of the most talented actors in Hollywood. And his razor sharp wit and sitcom persona are powerful and fun to watch.

The show is great. That's why I don't understand how stupid CBS and producer Chuck Lorre are. Who is Chuck Lorre anyway? I don't care. I don't turn on the show to watch Lorre. Maybe Lorre is jealous that Sheen is the real talent not only as an actor but the person who gives the show its life.

The show is among the funniest ever and it brings in loads of money from people like me. The money doesn't fall out of the sky. Change it and the money stops. Remove Sheen and lose your audience. There is no way to save "Two and a Half Men" without bringing Charlie Sheen back to the show.

Now, they are talking about some vicious episode to bring "Two and a Half Men" back to television. They are going to have Sheen, who plays "Charlie," get in a major car accident and put him in a coma where they can laugh about him. And then, they are going to bring in John Stamos either as the lawyer who takes over Charlie's property or as a cousin to replace Sheen in the sitcom.

Are you kidding me? John Stamos? There's no equivalence in at all. The two are so different. But this isn't about doing what's best for TV viewers. It is about Chuck Lorre's ego and the fact that Charlie Sheen is so much more talented that Chuck Lorre ever was.

Gte rid of Chuck Lorre and put the show in the hands of someone who understands that this isn't about the producer's ego but rather about raw talent driving one of the most popular shows in American TV history. I miss the show. I fear Sheen's departure.

But if Chuck Lorre wants to screw the TV audience then maybe one of the other TV networks should pick Sheen up and create another sitcom with a sharp wisecracking character whose humor has no bounds and remains fresh episode to episode.

I like John Cryer. I like Angus Jones. I like Holland Taylor and especially Conchata Ferrell. I am so glad Conchata is back. It's the perfect alignment of stars int he perfect alignment of a TV comedy.

So why the heck would that loser Chuck Lorre be permitted to bring the show down?

If they move in Stamos, dump Sheen and keep Lorre, it pretty much explains everything that is wrong with CBS.

Bravo! It's about time someone saw this whole situation for what it really is, Chuck Lorre's inability to see that he's NOT the star of the show, Sheen is.

Lorre has, through his vanity cards, taken cheap shots at Sheen for years. Sheen finally fights back and Lorre wants to take his show and go home...Wa! Wa! Some one needs to tell this crybaby that's no way to run a successful business. Apparently CBS doesn't have nads to do it either.

Go Charlie!... and take your talent with you.
